For the first time Sealink Jassy Dean Trust Garden Safari is featuring Waiheke Art in the Garden, a
display of Waiheke artists throughout 10 of the 12 gardens for the Garden Safari weekend, 12 & 13
November. Sculpture, photo montage, tile mosaics and easel painting will be in amongst the flora and
fauna. Some of the artists featured are painters Gwen Rutter, Katie Trinkle-Legge, Matthew Muir,
Danielle Fillion, Jackie Guthrie, Eleanor Ashby, Sandra Marie Adams, Jennifer Fountain, Stuart
Jobling, photographer Emma Hughes, and sculptors Don Stodard, Oliver Stretton-Pow, Lyndal
Jeffries, Olivier Duhamel, Neil Hemens and Jay Louis.
These artists will have their works for sale in the gardens and are generously donating 25% of the
profits to the Jassy Dean Trust.
We hope you can join us for Waiheke Art in the Garden Preview, a self-guided art tour of 6 of the art
gardens taking place on Friday, 11 November from 2-5 pm and concluding at Chris Reeve and Jackie
Kerridge's garden from 5-7 pm for drinks and nibbles. John Hawkesby will direct an art auction of the
Waiheke artists' work with the proceeds benefiting the Jassy Dean Trust.
